5 out of 5 stars I Love this Lamp!   July 13, 2010
M. H. Shulman (New York, NY)
This Lamp is inexpensive and with energy efficient warm hue fluorescent bulbs like Sylvania soft light bulbs, provides a wonderful amount of light that is excellent for reading, or for a general 'influx' of light. I find they provide much more light than the new wattage halogens, and are much easier on my eyes. You can't do better for the price --- works like a charm.

5 out of 5 stars A touch of class for a low price   July 10, 2010

This lamp gives off great light and would me an excellent addition to any room that needs light or more. Remember to buy three light bulbs for this lamp.

3 out of 5 stars O.K. light at this price.   June 4, 2010

This is a good general purpose light for an extra bed room, but I think it needs some diffusers for the bulbs in order to be used efficiently in a living room, etc...and yes...the lights do get hot as mentioned in other reviews.

1 out of 5 stars Switch Problem ...Dangerous?   May 27, 2010

Loved this lamp in my office but after a few months one of the switches became tight and eventually broke. I don't know if this is dangerous or not. For some reason this purchase has disappeared from my purchase history. It looks good but it doesn't last. Just another cheap lamp perhaps a dangerous one.

2 out of 5 stars It's Okay.   May 13, 2010

It was super easy to put together and it looks great, but the burning smell that comes with it when you turn it on, makes me afraid. Like it will catch on fire. Also it gets really really hot! I would only use it for maybe a half hour max! I wish I hadn't jumped on this one so quickly. Oh and make sure the blubs you put in are no higher than 60 watt. Any higher and they could catch fire. I use 40 watt just to be on the safe side.
